Danny Loong

Danny, bandleader and founder of one of Singapore's top bands Ublues. Music magazines and authorities have regarded Ublues as one of the premier bands in Asia. Ublues performed in Malaysia, Australia and received critical acclaim in USA, reaching the semi-final at the "International Blues Challenge" in Memphis USA in 2003. A major highlight for the band was to share the same billing with James Brown, Jackson Browne, Robben Ford and many other music greats at the East Coast Blues & Roots Festival at Byron Bay Australia in April 2004. The band was also the first Asian band to be invited to perform in the festival's 15 years history. Danny was also the founder of Ublues Network Pte Ltd, an event and artiste management company. Past projects include Ublues Fest 2002 & 2003, Chijmes Blues Series 2002 & 2003, Heineken Ublues Xperiment Tour, Heineken StarBar Festival and the Jazz Series at the Sentosa Golf Club. Clients include Hitachi, Chijmes, McDonald's, Borneo Motors, Sentosa and Heineken.

Edward Chia
Co-Managing Director

Edward has been an active youth and arts activist and event organizer for the last 4 years and is the founder and chairman of the youth organisation, Arts for Us All (AFUA). AFUA, is a registered non-for-profit organisation, primarily seeks to promote active involvement and awareness of the Arts to a target group - Singaporean youths. AFUA wish to embark upon creating a potential critical mass, essential for the future appreciation of the arts as an integral and enduring part of our lives and culture, in line with Singapore's aspiration to become a Renaissance city with a genuine arts culture. Created and run overwhelmingly by youths aged below and early 20s, AFUA seeks to promote "Arts For Us All" - projecting the arts as an integral part of the average Singaporean's life, not an exclusive niche. It is strictly non-profit, and is entirely composed of a team of volunteers motivated by their own passion for the arts. Key events by AFUA include Jazz Up at the Arts House (A regional, Jam Series (performances at Singapore's heartlands) and HopeJam (a charity concert in inspired by the recent Asian Tsunami). Edward sits in the council for the National Youth Council under Minister Vivian Balakrisnan.
